August Health now integrates with SafelyYou, an AI platform designed to support senior living residents throughout their care journey. This first phase connects the two systems at the census level — keeping resident data current in SafelyYou automatically, so care teams don't have to maintain it separately.

August Health is the system of record for senior living care — where communities manage resident health records, medications, care plans, incident documentation, and the billing and acuity data that operators depend on to run their communities.
How SafelyYou Supports Resident Safety
The SafelyYou platform uses AI-enabled in-room sensors to detect falls automatically, and care staff is immediately notified for assistance.
Video of the event is provided, enabling care teams to determine how the fall occurred and better assess its severity. They can see whether a resident hit their head or lowered themselves to the ground intentionally, helping to get the right care right away and avoid unnecessary ER visits. Care teams can also use the video to determine a fall's root cause and develop interventions to help prevent repeat occurrences.
The platform also supports resident wellness and staffing challenges. It offers deep insights into resident well-being, measures when and where care is delivered, monitors for nighttime sleep disruptions without requiring staff to physically enter the room, and surfaces patterns that help align staffing to resident needs.
What's Connected Right Now
Now, our integration allows communities to push census data from August Health into SafelyYou on a daily basis.
When a resident's move-in date arrives, their profile is automatically created in SafelyYou. Communities don't need to manually add new residents to SafelyYou or reconcile the two resident lists — a task that's easy to miss in the bustle of an actual move-in day. Residents with future move-in dates are queued and sync on the scheduled date.
The integration automates resident profile creation in SafelyYou, but room assignment and move-out processing still require a staff action. Staff will find the resident already in the system and can select them to assign a room or process a move-out — the data entry is handled, but the confirmation step stays with your team.
Where This Partnership Is Headed
This integration is the first step in an ongoing technology partnership between August Health and SafelyYou — two platforms that together touch the full arc of resident safety: who's living in the building, what's happening in their rooms around the clock, and how care teams document and respond when something occurs.
The next phase will bring fall event documentation directly into August Health. When SafelyYou records a fall, that observation will flow into August Health — closing the loop between safety monitoring and care documentation, and giving staff one place to follow up rather than two.

For care teams, the practical change is less manual data entry and fewer opportunities for resident records to fall out of sync. When someone moves in, they're in SafelyYou that same day — without anyone having to add them separately. That matters most during the moments when staff are already stretched: a new move-in, a room change, a discharge.
The integration keeps that foundation current without requiring administrative staff to maintain it on both sides. And, when staff is relieved of that overhead, they can spend more time focused on providing care to residents.
