How SRI Management scaled move-ins while saving 300+ hours annually

300+

hours of manually saved work

20+

documents per packet

August Health helps SRI Management coordinate 300+ move-in packets each month—while giving its revenue team more time to support communities, acquisitions, and higher-value work.

The Challenge

Before August Health, SRI Management relied on a general electronic signature platform to manage move-in documents.

  • Manual, time-consuming process. Updates came several times a week, and each one required editing and re-uploading PDFs, reconfiguring fields, and repeating the change across approximately 40+ agreements.
  • Restricted access. Document retrieval depended on a single administrator.
  • Limited visibility into progress. Teams couldn’t easily see which documents were complete, who still needed to sign, or where a move-in packet was stalled.

“Any time there was one change, I had to make it for every community. At the time, that was 40 times. It was hours and hours of work.” –Shannon Harter, Director of Revenue, SRI Management

The Solution

SRI Management evaluated several move-in solutions built for senior living, including one connected to its existing property management system. But most of those options would have added new technology without changing who did the work. SRI would still be responsible for configuring, updating, and maintaining its documents.

August Health offered a different model: Move-Ins technology backed by a dedicated Customer Success partner, Kiley, who works directly with Shannon to manage document changes, keep state and community requirements organized, and support SRI as its portfolio grows.

“We looked at other options, but the customer support wasn’t there. With August Health, I have a dedicated person I can reach out to. Kiley responds the same day, helps me keep everything straight, and is invaluable to our team.” –Shannon Harter, Director of Revenue, SRI Management

That partnership also gave SRI a more standardized and visible move-in process:

  • Standardized agreements. State-level templates replaced separate agreements for each community.
  • Connected information. An integration with SRI’s CRM reduced duplicate entry of resident information.
  • Greater visibility and access. Resident profiles and real-time signing progress gave teams a shared view of each move-in packet.

The Result

August Health gives SRI Management a consistent move-in process across communities and a scalable way to manage the documents behind it. Community teams can prepare, send, track, and retrieve packets in one place, while SRI's corporate team sets state-level standards and August Health keeps templates current across state requirements and community-specific fee structures.

For Shannon, less time spent managing documents means greater capacity to:

  • Support newly acquired communities on site
  • Hold weekly check-ins with her team
  • Focus on accounts receivable and streamlining revenue operations
  • Contribute to broader corporate initiatives

“If I were still managing these documents myself, it would take up most of my week. Now I have peace of mind that it’s taken care of, and I can focus on supporting my team and the other parts of my role.” –Shannon Harter, Director of Revenue, SRI Management
