Share Move-In Tasks With Anyone Who Plays A Role
Move-in paperwork doesn't have to land on one person. Now, any contact with an email address can be designated as a Contributor: someone the resident or their family trusts to help with the process. You choose which tasks go to whom, so the right information gets to you faster — and more of the people who matter are part of this important step.

Instantly capture vital signs from clinical notes
When something changes with a resident, nurses document the what, when, and where of what they see. However, it’s the vital signs they lean on to piece together the why. Intelligent Vitals uses the power of August Intelligence to capture vital readings included in a chart note or comment as data points the clinical team can use to monitor trends and guide the resident’s care plan.

Start every shift with the full picture
Shift Handoff uses August Intelligence to automatically compile care details captured in Care Track from the previous shift, including residents on alert, who's out of the community, notable occurrences, missed routines, or exceptions. These details give caregiving teams a reliable foundation to guide shift changeover conversations, ensuring critical information is never overlooked. No extra documentation required, teams can spend less time putting the pieces together and more time focused on what residents need next.

Share controlled count inventories across related orders
Staff can now group related orders — like a scheduled and PRN med drawn from the same bottle — so they pull from a shared inventory count. Pharmacy connections stay intact, and grouped orders appear as a single line item at end-of-shift counts, reducing reconciliation steps for your team.

More updates to love

Simplify surveyor requests with Face Sheet Addendums
Custom addendums can now be created to help communities better meet state-specific regulations or unique surveyor requests. These addendums will automatically append to the end of the face sheet and can also be included in the emergency packet.

Auto-calculate BMI based on height changes
When staff record or update a resident's height on the Notes page, the system automatically recalculates and updates the resident's BMI using their latest weight data.

Export resident Notes & Incidents page
You can now export resident Notes & Incidents as a PDF report that reflects your active filters — including date range, type, status, created-by user, etc.

Preferred names now shown across the EHR
Resident preferred names now appear consistently across the EHR — on resident cards, lists, search, and PDF printouts including the MAR, Face Sheet, Med List, Care Log, and Physician Order, helping every interaction feel a little more personal.

Key contact info right where you need it
Important details about resident contacts, such as preferred call times or who needs to be contacted first, now appear directly on the Contact Card, making it easier than ever to find what you need, when you need it.

Support for triple and quad rooms
Rooms can now be configured as triple or quad bed in addition to single and double, with built-in occupancy validation to prevent reducing capacity below the current resident count.

Quickly see which tasks are scheduled next
Care Track now displays upcoming, time-dependent routines in sequential order right at the top of the resident list, helping caregivers easily prioritize care and stay on schedule.

Filter resident list based on laundry needs
We’ve added a filter in Care Track that lets your care team quickly see which residents require laundry services during their shift.

Enhanced visibility into manual order changes
Medication order history now details exactly when an order was manually changed and who made the modification, providing clear accountability and simpler auditing.

Monitor barcode scanning by staff member
A new dashboard chart displays individual barcode scanning performance, making it easy to track compliance, recognize consistent users, and identify where additional training may be needed.

Spot away residents at a glance
The "Away" badge now appears on residents in the eMAR Progress View, matching the medication pass and helping caregivers identify away residents quickly.

“Last given” now included on key resident PDF reports
Emergency packets, facesheets, medication lists and Physician Order Forms now display a “Last given” timestamp for each medication.

Apply surcharges on credit card payments.
When making a payment by card, the app automatically detects the card type and applies your configured surcharge. The fee and total are always displayed upfront before payment, and debit or prepaid cards are never surcharged.

Detailed payment confirmation screen
Users now see a receipt with resident payer, payment method, amount, processing fee, and total after a payment is run successfully.

New integration with Acumatica
Journal entries from August Health Billing & Payments now sync directly to Acumatica each night and finalize when you close your books — so your records stay current without manual data entry.

Track compliance with the new eMAR Signoffs tab
A new "Signoffs" tab on the eMAR dashboard displays the daily rate of medication passes that are signed off and locked. Clinical leaders can drill down into specific details for every resident, med pass, and date to ensure complete compliance.

Refreshed Med Order dashboard
Our new Med Order dashboard loads faster than ever, offers more robust search and filtering, and makes it easy to drill down, so you can get the insights you need in just a few clicks.

A clearer picture of med administration
The eMAR Dashboard has a fresh new look, as well as improved filtering and drill-down capabilities. We’ve also added a new “Meds given as planned” chart, so you can see at a glance how consistently medications are being administered.
